Wearable Orange : Tutorial

If you're like a lot of people, the idea of orange makeup is kind of terrifying. Probably because we've all seen that lady who decided that bright orange lipstick was her color and... it definitely wasn't (but props to this lady for rocking it and simultaneously making us terrified). However, when worn correctly, orange can be a really flattering shade. You'll have to put in the time to figure out what shade of orange works for you, but then you can rock it everywhere. Keep reading to see how I used it!

1) Tarte 360 Creaseless 12 hr eye primer
2) Kitten and Espresso (not the middle shade) from Stila
3) A Regular at the Factory trio from Wet N Wild  FYI: This is limited edition but at drugstores right now, pick it up NOW if you want it
4) Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner
5) Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara
6) Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening mascara
7) Sephora Pro Precision Crease brush (#17)
8) Sephora Crease brush
9) MAC 219 brush

1) NARS Laguna bronzer
2) Sephora + Pantone blush in Apricot Brandy (this is not longer available, but it's an orange blush with gold shimmer)
3) Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Smoked Peach
4) Revlon Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya
5) Dual ended Bare Minerals brush

And let's get started!

Foundation face!

Prime prime prime!

Using my finger (wash your hands if you plan on using your fingers!), I applied Kitten from lash line to brown bone.

I took my precision crease brush and applied the orange shade from the Wet N Wild palette to my socket.

And blended it out using the same brush.

Using the 219 brush, I applied Espresso in a V shape on the outer corner of the lid.

And blended with the crease brush, adding a bit more color as I went.

Using the 219 brush, I brought Espresso and the orange shade under my eye.

Added some winged liner.

And then one coat of Clump Crusher, followed by one coat of Lash Love.

I applied Apricot Brandy to my cheeks and lightly contoured with Laguna.

For the lips, I applied Smoked Peach and then went over it with Juicy Papaya.
