Clump Crusher : Product Review
I feel like everyone and their dog has been talking about Covergirl's Clump Crusher; it's basically the biggest thing in drugstore mascara since Covergirl Lash Blast. I am not one for plastic brushes and I will state that right off the bat, but I have been surprised by some brands, so I thought I would give this a try. Keep reading to find out what I think about this mascara.

Soft Matte Lip Cream :Product Review
If you're a regular reader of my blog, you might have seen one or two of these pop up in my tutorials. The NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream was one of the very first NYX products that I ever bought and I am so happy that I've been adding to my collection since. To see swatches and find out why I like these so much, keep reading!

Duochrome Eyes : Tutorial
Duochrome was a trend that was pretty big last year and while it isn't as huge as it was, you can still find quite a bit of eyeshadow that uses duochrome. If you're sitting there thinking "What the hell is duochrome?", let me explain it in the easiest way possible: it's (usually) a shimmer infused product that changes colors from different angles. Do you have nail polish that looks green from one angle and then if you change the angle, it looks blue? Duochrome. It can actually have numerous colors from numerous angles, but most eyeshadows use a two shade duochrome. Keep reading to find out how to get this look!

Milk Chocolate Soleil : Product Review
If you're a pale girl like me, you know that finding a bronzer that doesn't make you look like a Jersey Shore cast member, can be extremely difficult to find. On top of that, finding one that is matte is almost impossible. When I first read about Milk Chocolate Soleil by Too Faced, I was a bit skeptical, but now that I've had it for a while, I can give you my full opinion on it. Keep reading to see what I think about this bronzer.

Warm Smoky Eyes : Tutorial
I don't do dark, dramatic eyes very often in real life because I think that they look goofy on me, but every once in a while, I get a desire to do them. I also tend to shy away from using straight black shadow, but I figured since I am in the midst of #30daysofmakeup (on Instagram, you can follow me @bisoubisoubangbang), why not do a look I haven't done in a while. Pretty much every time I show a smoky eye, I say that it's "really easy", but they so often are really easy. Keep reading to find out how to achieve this look.

Beauty Box Roundup : May 2013
I finally got all of my beauty subscriptions in for the month of May! My Ipsy bag definitely took the scenic route on its way to me and kind of held up this post. Regardless, I have three beauty subscriptions to show you this month to help you determine if you want to subscribe to any of these services. Keep reading to find out what I got in my Birchbox, Blush Mystery Beauty Bag, and Ipsy bag and their cash values.

Old School Burlesque : Costume Makeup
I'm putting this right here and it's in the title, but I want to drive this point home: This is costume makeup. I'm not saying that you can't wear this out every day if that's what your heart desires, but for me and this purpose, it's costume makeup. I received a message on Facebook asking me about burlesque makeup. This tutorial was made with the idea of the stage being involved, so that's why it looks very garish. Stage makeup is often troweled on and it needs to be bright since you're going to have stage lighting and people need to be able to see it from a distance. Keep reading to see the process behind this look.

Macadamia Leave in Cream : Product Review
I don't review hair products very often because, to be honest, I don't think my hair is anything to rave about. My hair is at its most basic right now; medium length, natural hair color and absolutely no chemical treatments in it. I picked this up months and months ago, I think at Christmas when my sister was in town, and I just started using it recently. Since I'm trying to grow my hair back out to be mermaid long, I figure I need to take care of it now so that it won't be all breaky and horrible.

Well, now that it's going to start officially getting hot out here in Kansas land, I feel like it's time to start the summer looks! Sunset eyes can be worn at anytime, but they just feel totally appropriate for the summer since the colors are so warm. Keep reading to see how to achieve this look!

Wilde Style : Tutorial
Ok, now I can show you the real tutorial for this. I shot this in a slightly different way than normal because I had pretty much given up on doing this tutorial (I was pissed after the screw up) and then decided at like 9 p.m. to do it, so I just did a minimal setup for it. This look really is easy to imitate and keep reading to find out how to do it!

Saving Face : Kind of a how-to
So. Usually when I do a tutorial, it's either something I'm completely comfortable with or a look that I've been testing out on my own. This time, when I saw the picture of Olivia Wilde, I thought "Oh... that looks easy to recreate, I'll just do that". And honestly, it should have been easy to recreate, but I just did everything wrong to recreate it. Therefore, I present to you this tutorial; how to save your makeup once you've really started to (pardon the language) fuck it up. Is this my favorite makeup I've ever done? No. But keep reading if you want to see the "process" behind this.
RiRi Woo : Swatched
Since this is going to be a super short post, there will be no jump, so you can just read right through. RiRi Woo arrived a few days ago and I have swatched it for you and put it on my lips so that you can see how it looks! It's sold out for the time being, but it will be coming back in June (you can sign up on the MAC website to be notified of its return). The "bullet" has Rihanna's signature on it, but it's not very deep, so you're not losing very much product.
When I first swatched it, I could definitely see the blue undertones in the lipstick right away. I was a bit concerned that this might not match my skin since I have fairly warm undertones...
Ok, let me explain this shoddy application. 1) This lipstick is a Retro Matte, meaning it's really matte and it's a bit dry and hard to apply... so 2) I had a hell of a time getting this to look pretty without a lip brush/lip liner. It should get easier to apply the more, but this was the first use of the lipstick, so it was really difficult.
And a full face photo so you can see it in relation to my face. Since the lipstick has blue undertones, it makes your teeth look a bit whiter, but it still works with my warm undertones. It's a nice lipstick and since I don't own Ruby Woo (I've heard that these two are almost the exact same thing), it's a welcome addition to my collection. The next time I wear this though, I will have balm underneath, line my lips, and apply with a lip brush.

Subtle Matte Eyes : Tutorial
Since everything 90s is back in style, it only seems right that matte eyeshadows have hit peak popularity again. I really love matte shadows since I find them easy to blend and work with and that they give this beautiful polished look to the eyes. Even though I'm in my mid (late?) twenties, matte shadows just make me feel grown up. To see how to achieve this style, keep reading!

Foundation Routine : Tutorial
I think I've been saying for a good month or two that I needed to show you guys an updated foundation routine. I really wanted to do this in video format, but I think that I'm going to have to wait a bit on videos until I can get a new camera. Keep reading to see what steps I do for my everyday foundation routine.

Stila Sale : Haul
I feel like I talked about this haul endlessly, but honestly, I got such a good deal on it all, that I can't help but talk about it. If you follow me on Facebook, then you probably know that I posted the promo code for this sale and that it was valid for 50% off your purchase. Well, I somehow lucked into something else and Stila honored it. To find out all the products that I got and what my super special discount was, keep reading!

Recent Purchases : Real Talk
Again, if you follow me on Facebook, you get to read about my recent purchases but in the past, that's pretty much where it ends unless I write a review on it or use it in a tutorial. Due to that and the fact that not all of these items will show up on of those two places, I thought it might be fun and lighthearted to show you what I've bought beauty wise in the last two weeks or so and give you a little insight as to why I purchase them. Keep reading to find out more on the products above!

Blush.com Mystery Box : Real Talk
If you follow me on Facebook, you might have seen me mention that I had recently subscribed to a new beauty box. Well, it arrived about two weeks ago and I've finally gotten around to photographing it, so I can finally tell you guys about it and my first thoughts on the whole thing. This is blush.com's mystery beauty box and it is available for $24.95 a month or if you want to try it out once, it's $34.95. This is the most expensive beauty box that I've ever tried, so keep reading to see if I think that it's actually worth the price.

Yes to Tomatoes Acne Repairing Lotion : Product Review
One thing that I don't write about all too often is skin care and there are multiple reasons as to why I don't. The first and most important reason being that I don't think I have great skin, so I find it difficult to stand out as an authority on skincare. Second, I am not well versed in what to do for dry skin seeing as how I have combo skin in the winter and oily skin in the spring/summer/fall. However, I sometimes come across a product that I think is amazing and I want to spread some info about it. This particular product, Yes to Tomatoes Repairing Acne Lotion, came up on Glamour.com the other day and I decided to try it out. Keep reading to find out why I like it so much.

Tie Dye Eyes : Tutorial
Since it is finally starting to feel like spring here in lovely Kansas, it only seems right to bust out the bright colors. Rather than play with my lip shades, I decided to play up my eyes yesterday with one of my new Stila shadows. Almost all of the colors on my lids came from one shadow, but to see what I'm talking about, you'll need to keep reading...
